High Park Residence

Our clients came to us wanting to restore the heritage of their newly purchased 3-story stone house in Toronto’s High Park neighbourhood while also modernizing to meet the needs of their busy urban family lifestyle. Previous renovations had removed much of the character, and the floor plan was broken into 3 apartments. We revised the layout to meet the current and future needs of the family of 6, using practical, durable materials and strategic design initiatives to faciliate their active lives.

Restoring this old Toronto home meant blending modern finishes with nods to the past, such as the intricately detailed entry-way tiles and the lattice-style windowpanes of the music room.
